To encourage and assist new authors with their first publication, ArtistScope
will advise and provide the tools for publishing a properly copy protected
eBook, and list it for sale in the ArtistScope eBook Store. This sponsorship is
provided for free to help alleviate the fear of plagiarism and save them the
initial investment of procuring suitable tools and setting up shop online.
No monies or contract are required for first time publications that comply as
defined below.
What does
ArtistScope eBook sponsorship include?
ArtistScope will assist with any final preparation for the presentation and
release of the eBook including:
Preparation or editing for a suitable cover image
Conversion to ENC format for listing in the DRM database
Free hosting for DRM validation
Setting up an appropriate account in the ArtistScope eBook
Store
Listing that first eBook for online sales and international
exposure
Who is eligible for
ArtistScope eBook sponsorship?
Any author publishing their first eBook, or any author who has not yet sold an
eBook online. Other conditions apply as defined below.

sponsorship requirements
To qualify for free sponsorship from ArtistScope, the author and/or
publication needs to meet the following criteria:
The person applying for sponsorship must be the author of
the intended publication
The author must be unknown as an eBook publisher
The eBook must the author's first publication for sale
The eBook cannot be advertised for sale anywhere else at
the time of submission
The original publication must be provided in Microsoft Word
format (not OpenOfice)
A cover image is required for display at 450 x 270 pixels
wide (see a guideleine)
A PayPal (or similar) account reference must be nominated
for online sales
Adult rated content must not be portrayed in an eBook's
summary or cover image
An eBook may not contain or promote anything considered to
be illegal internationally
Terms and

The author retains all rights of ownership and copyright
The author agrees to permit the display of the eBook in
ArtistScope eBook catalogues
The author is responsible for the administration of their
eBook sales and delivery
Sales from sponsored eBooks are free of any commission
payable to ArtistScope or its partners
ArtistScope reserves the right to sponsor more than one
eBook per author
ArtistScope reserves the right to list the eBook for an
indefinite period at its own discretion
ArtistScope reserves the right to approve or deny any
submission for free sponsorship
ArtistScope reserves the right to remove any eBook from its
catalogues at its own discretion
How to apply for
ArtistScope eBook sponsorship
Authors wishing to apply for free sponsorship can use the
online support form to introduce themselves and
briefly describe what their eBook is about. Submissions should provide some
background information about the author, their experience in the chosen subject
and an estimate of how many pages in their document.
