Secure Image Pro protects images from mouse saves, page saves, direct linking, web grabbers and retrieval from the web browser's cache. Any encrypted images stored on the web server are protected from everyone including the staff employed by your web host.
Who can use Secure Image Pro to encrypt images and copy protect?
Virtually anybody. Secure Image Pro does not require any special requirements except support for html which is always available regardless of the type of web site or the server hosting your web site. Secure Image Pro can be employed in all web projects ranging from artist home pages to corporate surveys and online galleries.
Why do visitors need to have Java installed?
Java is required for the ArtistScope security applet to decrypt and display your protected images. Java is one of the oldest and most secure programming languages that is supported on all platforms and by all web browsers.
How long does it take to set up Secure Image Pro on a web site to protect images?
The Secure Image Pro converter will import images (single or batch mode) and save then to html pages ready for immediate upload to your site or you can use those new pages for the code to replace the images already on your web site.
What precautions do I need to ensure that security is maintained?
Common sense. Secure Image Pro documentation recommended guidelines to avoid common pitfalls such as exposing your site to folder view by not including a default start page such as index.html, default.htm , etc according on your server's requirement.
Can I set up Secure Image Pro pages for e-commerce and live sales?
Yes. Secure Image Pro images can be delivered on the fly using any database solution available.
Are there any limitations with links to Secure Image Pro pages?
None, except that we don't recommend letting your visitors link directly to your Secure Image Pro images without visiting a index page that checks that java is installed. Instructions and code templates are packaged with the software.
